Ben McMahon holds a B.Bus (Banking and Finance) degree and boasts 12 years of experience in the financial services sector. Throughout his career, he has predominantly worked within financial planning firms, where he excelled in managing firm-wide portfolios and providing strategic advice to high-net-worth clients. Ben's journey in the industry ignited his passion for portfolio management and administration, leading him to establish Ikigai Investments in 2020.
As the founder of Ikigai Investments, Ben leads a consultancy firm specialising in Investment Committee services. Leveraging institutional-grade data access and analysis, Ben is dedicated to managing portfolio risk and achieving superior risk-adjusted returns for its advisory clients. Ben thrives on assisting clients in making data-driven decisions and integrating quantitative factors into their investment committee processes.
Beyond his professional endeavours, Ben finds joy in various activities. He is an avid fiction writer, a dedicated gym-goer, and harbors a passion for game design.
